Although I’m a big believer in the fact that if you write a good blog post the search engines will come.
However I do know that there are questions about links and if links inside Facebook, You Tube, Yelp, etc help your rankings or not. The good people at Search Advisory have done a GREAT job in explaining this. Its worth a look if you think about this stuff.
